I have been buying Italian seasoning for years but never thought to make my own. This blend is so much more fragrant and flavorful than the store-bought version! I doubled the recipe and gave some to my neighbor who is also a big fan. So handy to have on hand for pasta, chicken, and roasted veggies.

I made my own recently but I believe I prefer your portions and will try it next time, less the pepper flakes.

I don’t know why more of us don’t make seasoning blends-this is a great idea Pam. As you said fantastic idea to use spices we already have in our cupboards.
